Community Initiatives

We are committed to being an industry leader in safety performance. By establishing standards with our customer, and aligning with legislative mandates and corporate standards, we continuously aim to improve these areas.   We are creating a culture for all employees to “Think about safety and practices every day”.  As the much of our Distribution is food based, Aspect Retail Logistics is governed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and adheres to the highest level of food handling policies.

The focus of our business is to our customer. Our commitment to help them succeed is best understood through a clear understanding of what we stand for:

We realize celebrating a diverse workforce reflects the globalization of business, which we, as an organization, can draw upon. Celebrating the diversity as an organization allows all of our members to feel their value. We at Aspect Retail Logistics. continue to embrace culture and diversity in our workplace through many cultural communication celebrations, various events for employees and their families, and dedication to employee wellness.  In 2016 and beyond, we are dedicated to ensuring that we are giving back to our valuable employees through monthly employee events, cultural celebrations and more.

We understand our business can only be vibrant if the communities in which we operate are vibrant too.  A major priority of ours is to recognize the importance of giving back and partnering with organizations who are on the front line helping those in our community.

Food poverty continues to be a problem in the Durham Region. Last year, Aspect Retail Logistics donates thousands of kilograms of food directly to community organizations helping those in need– and we are immensely proud of the contributions we have made. This year will be no different; with a commitment to helping those in need locally as a top priority.  We will be hosting monthly fundraisers and organizing other charitable initiatives to give back to those who do so much, for so many, within our community.
