Transline Group Canada is currently recruiting for Order Selectors / Pickers positions at Aspect Retail Logistics in Pickering, ON.
Position Type: Temporary full-time with the opportunity to grow within the company.
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour with up to $6,000 in incentive bonuses in the first year!
Schedule: Day, Afternoon and Night shifts available.
An Order Selector works individually selecting full case grocery items from a warehouse pick slot. The selector fits these items on a pallet, once the pallet is complete, they are wrapped for shipment. Radio communications (headsets) are used to communicate what items are to be selected and palletized.
Job Duties & Description:
Operating a double-pallet jack (free training provided!).
Manually lifting 20 to possibly over 50 lbs to load pallets.
Using an RF Scanner and wrapping the pallets for shipment.
Delivering the pallets to the Loading Areas for shipment.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment. Physical demands include, but aren’t limited to standing, walking, riding, lifting, carrying, bending, pulling, and gripping items from 20 to possibly over 50 lbs.
Other Requirements:
Experience palletizing. Not required but is considered an asset.
Experience working with productivity metrics.
Order picking experience in a retail environment is considered and asset.
Criminal background checks will be completed for the position.
